Miriam Castells Molinero (Barcelona, 1982) founded her eponymous studio in 2015. Since then, she has built a diverse portfolio that brings together residential, renovation, and hospitality projects, while also branching out into the healthcare, social care, and corporate design sectors.
Her practice takes on a wide array of commissions—ranging from medical clinics and senior living facilities to corporate banking offices and creative workspaces. This breadth of work stems from a cross-disciplinary approach that seamlessly blends functionality, well-being, and spatial quality.
Concept, materiality, and structural detailing lay the groundwork for every project. Driven by functionality and the human scale, the studio’s design process always factors in the broader context, carefully playing with volume and form. Ultimately, they set out to craft environments meant to be lived in and fully experienced, tuning into the users’ needs through a coherent, balanced, and well-proportioned architectural language.
