This senior residence is located on the slopes of Collserola Mountain, right at the boundary between the Natural Park and the city of Barcelona. The setting offers privileged views over the city, abundant natural light, biodiversity, and a profound sense of tranquility.

Space, materiality, fixed and mobile furnishings, lighting, graphics, and vegetation converge into a cohesive result where every element flows in balance. The outcome is a healthy and human environment, designed with the resident at its center.
Comfortable, well-being-oriented spaces ensure that users feel truly at home.

The project originates from the prototype of a standard room, developed over several months at a 1:1 scale, and expands centrifugally to the rest of the interior and exterior areas, both visually and functionally.

Signage, designed by Arauna Studio, reinforces identity and enhances accessibility. The signs incorporate illustrations by Montse Galvany, replacing conventional synthetic pictograms with more intuitive visuals that facilitate comprehension.
The CARE furniture line, created by Emiliana Design Studio specifically for this project, aims to support the daily lives of residents with reduced mobility who spend long periods resting, reading, or socializing, and who often face challenges when sitting down or standing up. The armchairs, chairs, and tables are inclusive, ergonomic, accessible, safe, and comfortable, tailored to the needs of the residents.
