The entrance hall on Pintor Sorolla Street originally presented a disordered layout and a dark atmosphere, culminating in a staircase of Ibiza white marble and Marquina black marble elements that would later define the concept and materialization of the interior project.
From this starting point, the palette of materials was developed. Walnut wood, together with Ibiza white marble and Marquina black marble, became key allies in highlighting the building’s mid-century character.
The entrance hall was thus materialized by connecting the exterior of the building with the interior through a Zimbabwe black granite base. Ibiza white marble brings light to an entrance that previously lacked luminosity.
The reorganization of the space, while conserving and respecting the noble pre-existing materials—such as the various types of marble—adds value to the entrance hall through a rational and coherent use of materials.
