Studio

Miriam Castells is an interior design studio founded in 2015 in Barcelona. We develop projects in the healthcare and social care sector -such as medical clinics and residences for older people- , the corporate sector -such as offices for banking institutions and creative workspaces-, as well as private homes, restaurants, and hotels.

Concept, materiality, and construction detail form the starting point of each project. Our approach is grounded in functionality and the human scale. We conceive projects as integral pieces within their context, carefully working with volumes. We design spaces to be lived in and experienced, empathizing with users and their needs through a coherent, balanced, and proportionate architectural language.
